The following 3 targets were sent back to us by Cal Wiseman, of Gilmar Iowa. Cal is the proud owner of a Superior Arms 20" Heavy barrel Varmint. The barrel is chambered in .223 wylde,24", 416r stainless, 1-9 twist, 1.050 under the handguard, 0.936 gas block, 0.920 in front of the gas block, 11 degree target crown. Cal spec'd a JP fire control kit putting a super sweet 3lb. 9oz. single stage trigger. I don't have his optics specs, but whatever it is I'd say its doing the job. The ammo in the first is Ultramax 50 grain Hollow points, 4 shots. The second is also Ultramax 50 grain with a slight wind increase. The third is Black Hills 55 grain Soft Point.
